Equinix

Equinix AM9 is a new data center facility located at Luttenbergweg 1 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. It is part of Equinix's expansion in the Amstel III area, a redeveloped office park. The development of AM9 and AM10 is being undertaken in phases due to existing grid congestion in the region. Initially, the build-out is limited to approximately 25 percent of the total permitted development, focusing on the first tower. The electricity consumption for this phase will be capped until 2036. Equinix plans to source 80MW of power for the campus. This facility adds to Equinix's existing presence in Amsterdam, which includes multiple data centers across various locations like Amstel III, Betondorp, Science Park, and Sloterdijk.
