Thailand’s Board of Investment has approved a $727 million data center project to be developed by Stratus Technology, a subsidiary of China’s ZData Technologies. The facility will be located in the CPGC Industrial Estate in Rayong province, southwest of Bangkok.
Once completed, the data center will offer up to 203MW of capacity, positioning it among the largest in Southeast Asia. The investment reflects Thailand’s accelerating digital infrastructure growth, with a fivefold increase in digital sector applications reported in Q1 2025.
