Digital Edge has broken ground on a major data center campus in Chonburi, Thailand. The facility is part of a 100MW greenfield development located within the Eastern Economic Corridor, aimed at supporting hyperscale and AI workloads.
The project is a joint venture with Thai energy firm B.Grimm Power and represents a $1 billion investment in Thailand’s digital infrastructure. The campus will be powered by renewable energy and is scheduled to be ready for service by Q4 20262.
This marks Digital Edge’s first entry into the Thai market and aligns with its broader strategy to expand across Southeast Asia. The company currently operates or is building 24 data centers across six countries, with over 1.1GW of secured IT power.
