Vantage - Zaragoza

Vantage Data Centers is making a major move into Spain with a €3.2 billion investment to build a hyperscale data center campus in Villanueva de Gállego, Zaragoza. The project will span 40 hectares and be developed over ten years in five phases.

The facility will be located in an eco-industrial park and aims to integrate renewable energy sources like wind and solar, along with energy storage systems. It will also use a closed-loop cooling system to minimize water usage, aligning with sustainability goals.

This development is expected to create significant employment, starting with 180 direct jobs and growing to 520 permanent positions by the end of the final phase. The initiative has already secured 90MW of electricity supply and received regional interest approval from the Government of Aragon.
