Iridium, the infrastructure concessions subsidiary of Grupo ACS, is planning a new data center development in Zaragoza, Spain, as part of its expanding digital infrastructure strategy. The company has acquired an 18-hectare site in the Parque Tecnológico del Reciclado (PTR) López Soriano, a growing hub for hyperscale and enterprise data center investments in the Aragón region.
The Zaragoza campus will be Iridium’s first in Aragón and is envisioned as a build-to-suit facility for a future technology client. While the operator has not yet been confirmed, the project is part of ACS’s broader ambition to become a major player in the European data center market. The company plans to self-finance the development, leveraging its strong balance sheet and construction expertise.
