Box2bit Calatayud

Box2bit Calatayud is a large-scale data center project planned for the expanded section of the Polígono La Charluca industrial zone in Calatayud, Zaragoza, Spain. The facility will occupy 400,000 square meters and represents Box2bit’s second major development in Aragón, following its investment in Cariñena. This initiative is part of the company’s broader strategy to establish a robust, interconnected network of sustainable data centers across the Iberian Peninsula.

Backed by Capital Energy, the project involves a multi-billion-euro investment and is designed to operate entirely on renewable energy, aligning with Box2bit’s commitment to carbon-neutral infrastructure. The site selection reflects both strategic connectivity and institutional support, as the expansion of La Charluca has been declared a Project of Regional Interest by the Government of Aragón, streamlining development and permitting processes.
