This investment enables the company to provide scalable and secure hosting, housing, cloud computing, edge computing, storage, and backup services directly from its own infrastructure. A key feature of the facility is its integrated photovoltaic system, designed to meet up to 80 percent of the data center's energy requirements, thereby enhancing operational sustainability and reducing reliance on the conventional power grid. The data center aims to keep critical information and applications within the Balearic Islands. Infotelecom Networks S.L., founded in 1995, also operates data centers in Menorca.
