DCI Data Centers and Koramco are jointly developing a 40MW hyperscale data center in Ansan, South Korea, located within the Sihwa National Industrial Complex. The five-story facility will span over 26,000 square meters and is designed to support AI and cloud-first workloads with high-compute infrastructure. Planning approvals were secured in 2023, and construction is expected to begin between late 2025 and early 2026, with operations slated for 2028.
DCI will lead the project and maintain majority ownership, while Koramco will oversee the development process, leveraging its expertise in Korean real estate. Power will be supplied by Korea Electric Power Corporation, ensuring stable and scalable energy delivery. The facility will be DCI’s second in South Korea, following its 20MW SEL01 site in Seoul, and marks Koramco’s second data center investment in the region.
