NHN Pangyo Cloud Center (NCC1)

NHN Pangyo Cloud Center (NCC1), located in the heart of Pangyo Techno Valley, South Korea's IT innovation center, offers excellent accessibility and can serve as a Disaster Recovery (DR) Center for Seoul.

Designed for a high-density operating environment, NCC1 supports an average of 40A per rack, reducing space requirements. It uniquely employs an indirect evaporative cooling system, patented in Korea, to minimize energy consumption while preventing contamination and humidity issues from outside air.

The facility adheres to Tier III standards, with some aspects meeting Tier IV criteria. It ensures high reliability through redundant power supply from two substations (East and West Pangyo) and dedicated power lines. The server rooms feature a non-raised floor design allowing for easy equipment placement with a load capacity of 1.1 ton/㎡ and variable width racks. Power configurations include N+1 UPS and generator backup for uninterrupted operation. Advanced security measures such as fingerprint recognition at server room entrances and 24/7 CCTV surveillance are in place. The data center is built to withstand seismic activity up to magnitude 7.0 and features a robust drainage system capable of handling over 200mm of rainfall per hour.
