Telkom Hartbeeshoek

The Telkom Hartbeeshoek HBDC is a Tier 3 compliant data center located near Pretoria, South Africa. Commissioned in 2009, it supports Telkom SA’s enterprise and cloud infrastructure portfolio under the BCX brand.

The facility provides 600 square meters of white space and houses up to 179 racks, with a critical IT load capacity of 480 kilowatts. Its Tier 3 compliance ensures high service continuity and concurrent maintainability for key workloads.

HBDC benefits from strategic proximity to Telkom's satellite and teleport infrastructure in Hartbeeshoek, which includes VSAT hubs and links to Intelsat platforms—enabling added redundancy and remote connectivity. It complements BCX’s broader network of 10 data centers across South Africa.
