Business Connexion (BCX)

The Telkom Centurion Hub (HUB DC) is a Tier III certified data center located in Centurion, Gauteng, South Africa. Commissioned in 2002, it serves as a strategic component of Telkom SA’s digital infrastructure and is operated under its subsidiary BCX.

The facility provides 2,850 square meters of white space and supports up to 884 racks, with a critical IT load capacity of 1.8 megawatts. Its Tier III certification ensures high availability and concurrent maintainability, which makes it suitable for enterprise-grade colocation and cloud services.

HUB DC is tightly integrated with Telkom’s nationwide fiber and IP backbone, enabling secure, high-performance connectivity. Its design supports modular expansion and is part of a national footprint of 10 data centers with a combined IT load of 9.82 MW.

This data center also benefits from Telkom's commitment to sustainability and resilience, featuring backup power systems and contributing to the broader Always-On network strategy supported by Openserve.
