DayOne

GDS, a prominent data center firm, has recently expanded its footprint in Singapore by acquiring a warehouse property from CapitaLand. The strategic move aligns with GDS's awarded data center capacity by Singapore's Infocomm Media Development Authority and Economic Development Board, under the Pilot Data Centre Call for Application initiative.

The property, located at 21 Jalan Buroh, encompasses a three-story warehouse and a seven-story ancillary office block, boasting a gross floor area of approximately 39,980 square meters. Acquired for S$112.8 million, the site presents significant potential for future capacity scaling, with the first phase expected to be operational by Q4 2026.

DayOne Singapore

GDS acquired a warehouse in Singapore from CapitaLand in 2024 with plans of converting it into a data center.
