The Sberbank MegaData Center Skolkovo, located in the Skolkovo Innovation Center in Moscow, Russia, is a significant Tier III certified data processing center. Spanning 39,000 m² with an active capacity of up to 35 MW and accommodating up to 2000 server racks, it is recognized as one of Europe's largest and most powerful data centers.

The facility comprises an administrative building and five engineering and technological modules, operating 24/7. Its design emphasizes reliability, safety, and reduced maintenance costs through an automated dispatching and management system for engineering systems. This system integrates various local automation systems, monitoring general ventilation, air conditioning, water supply, heating, cold supply, power supply, and more.

Achieving Uptime Institute Tier III certification signifies a high level of fault tolerance and an availability rate of at least 99.98%. The data center utilizes advanced technologies, including dynamic uninterruptible power supplies and energy-efficient cooling systems that leverage ambient air for over 287 days a year. Security is enhanced with biometric systems, including facial recognition.

Construction of the data center involved numerous contractors and significant investment, with a project budget exceeding 17 billion rubles. The project also focused on import substitution, incorporating domestic solutions where feasible. The data center's development and expansion are ongoing, with a focus on enhancing IT system reliability and supporting new technological advancements.
