Portland Trust Bucharest DC2 is a planned data center development located in the Preciziei area of Bucharest, Romania. The project, spearheaded by real estate developer Portland Trust, will be situated on a 4-hectare plot of land. The facility is designed as a single, two-story building with an approximate floorspace of 20,000 square meters (215,280 sq ft). Portland Trust, founded in 1997, is a prominent real estate developer and asset manager with a presence in Prague and Bucharest, and has a long-term joint venture with Ares Management Corporation. The land for the data center was acquired from Broadhurst Investments and is located behind the Policolor and Tip Top pastry factories in the Militari district.
