ROMARG Data Center

ROMARG operates its own high-performance data center in Brașov, Romania, engineered for reliability, efficiency, and security. The facility offers up to 1,000 kW of installed power with 2N electrical redundancy from dual transformers and modular Legrand UPS systems. Backup power is secured by two generators with a 10-second startup and at least 30 minutes of battery autonomy, supporting consistent uptime across critical systems.

The infrastructure includes in-row air conditioning with a HOT AISLE containment system, delivering energy-efficient cooling with N+1 redundancy and a measured PUE of 1.32—placing it among the most efficient data centers in Romania. The environment supports over 1,400 physical servers, scalable to 6,000, and is housed in a facility built with fire-resistant materials, reinforced floors, and advanced Inergen fire suppression.

Connectivity is a key strength, with over 200 Gbps of internet capacity and direct access to top-tier Romanian ISPs like DIGI, Telekom, and Orange. The center is also linked to three major Internet Exchange points (BALCAN-IX, RONIX, INTERLAN), and features AI-driven DDoS protection operating across three security layers. This ensures ROMARG’s clients benefit from both exceptional performance and robust cyber resilience.
