This facility is designed to support the digital transformation of local and global customers expanding into the Philippines. MN2 provides an initial capacity of 4MW, with 100% of its power sourced from renewable energy. The data center is carrier-neutral and interconnection-rich, offering a dense business ecosystem for private and secure data exchange. Equinix MN2 is part of Equinix's growing presence in Manila, a key regional connectivity hub in Southeast Asia. The facility emphasizes robust security measures, including man trap entry, 24/7 on-site security officers, and electronic biometric readers. It features advanced fire protection systems with Novec 1230 gas suppression and smoke detection. Power infrastructure includes 2N UPS configuration and N+1 standby power redundancy, with a cooling configuration of an air-cooled closed-loop chilled water system. Equinix MN2 aims for industry-leading uptime and offers amenities such as break rooms, work kiosks, and conference rooms.
