PolarDC’s OSL01 is a high-performance data center located in Norway’s NO1 grid region, strategically close to major fiber routes and urban connectivity hubs. It’s designed to support ultra high-density compute loads, making it ideal for AI training, simulation, and HPC deployments. OSL01 is equipped with both rear door heat exchangers and direct liquid cooling (DLC), tailored to accommodate rack densities well above conventional standards.
The facility operates on 100% hydroelectric power, continuing PolarDC’s commitment to renewable energy and low carbon infrastructure. OSL01’s modular architecture allows for phased power provisioning and future expansion, backed by redundant utility feeds and N+1 electrical systems. The site also targets a highly efficient Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of 1.12 through free cooling and heat recovery mechanisms.
Situated within a connectivity-rich corridor, OSL01 features robust interconnection capabilities with options for dark fiber and low-latency data transfer across Northern Europe. It’s engineered for enterprise flexibility, offering customizable modules for storage, office space, and high-density deployment zones. As part of PolarDC’s infrastructure portfolio, OSL01 reflects a balance of environmental responsibility and operational readiness for the next generation of data workloads.
