Polar Data Centers

PolarDC’s DRA01 data center is located in the southeast region of Norway, within the NO2 grid zone and serves as a flagship site for next-generation AI and HPC workloads. The facility is purpose-built to handle ultra high-density compute environments, offering AI readiness and direct liquid cooling (DLC) capabilities.

Currently delivering 12 MW of IT load with an additional 36 MW in development, DRA01 is energized entirely by renewable hydroelectric power. Its infrastructure includes 20 MVA of installed capacity, expandable to 60 MVA, supported by redundant utility feeds and N+1 electrical architecture. Cooling is delivered via free cooling systems, rear door heat exchangers, or DLC options, enabling a target PUE of 1.12.

Built on a 60,600 m² plot, DRA01 is part of a phased development plan and offers flexible office and storage modules for enterprise needs. The site also features resilient interconnectivity, making it well-suited for compute-intensive applications that require low latency and high throughput. It's a testament to PolarDC’s commitment to scalable, green infrastructure for Europe’s growing tech demands.
