The backbone leverages DWDM technology with multiple 10G and 100G links across strategic nodes in Italy and Europe, including Milan (MIX, MINAP), Padua (VSIX), and Vienna (VIX), with direct Tier-1 upstreams and private peerings.

In addition to its transit and peering infrastructure, Wifiweb maintains colocation in over 50 Fibercop central offices and more than 30 Open Fiber PCNs (Punti di Consegna Neutri), enabling the delivery of passive layer services such as dark fiber, unbundled local loops, and passive access links. This extensive presence across wholesale infrastructure provides maximum flexibility and scalability for enterprise and wholesale customers alike.

The entire network is built on Cisco routing platforms and is monitored 24/7, offering MPLS-based services, Layer 2 transport, IP transit, and tailored interconnection solutions.
