Yotta K1 is a new data center facility being developed in Ramkot, Nepal, approximately 20km outside Kathmandu. This joint venture between Indian data center operator Yotta and Nepalese conglomerate BLC Holding Pvt Ltd will offer 4MW of IT capacity across 60,000 sq ft on a three-acre plot. The facility is expected to launch within the next two years and will provide access to Yotta’s cloud platforms, including Shakti Cloud for AI and HPC computing, and Yntraa hyperscale cloud. The K1 facility is designed to be modular, carrier-neutral, and will feature network access through three fiber routes. BLC Holding aims to create an ICT ecosystem to drive local and global growth through this facility.
