Empyrion MY1 Nusajaya Data Center, located in the SiLC Industrial Cluster in Gelang Patah, Johor Bahru, Malaysia, is a significant expansion by Empyrion Digital. This 34.9-acre campus is designed to deliver a total capacity of 200MW, featuring five 40MW buildings. The initial phase is slated for energization in September 2026, with the first building expected to be operational in Q4 2026. The facility has secured regulatory approval for its Electricity Supply Agreement (ESA) and Data Centre Task Force (DCTF) application. Empyrion Digital plans to utilize both air and liquid cooling technologies at the site. This development underscores Malaysia's growing importance as a hub for hyperscale data centers, driven by digital transformation and favorable infrastructure. The MY1 campus aims to provide scalable, green-by-design, and AI-ready infrastructure to meet customer demands.
