Digital Edge - Johor BCIP

Digital Edge DC is developing a significant data center campus in Kota Tinggi, Johor, Malaysia. The company acquired 49.7 acres of land in the Bandar Cemerlang Industrial Park (BCIP) from Crescendo Corporation for RM346 million ($87 million). This strategic location in Johor, situated just across the border from Singapore, positions the facility to serve the growing demand for data center services in the region. Johor has emerged as a key data center market, attracting significant investment as development spills over from Singapore. Digital Edge, a firm backed by Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners, operates and is constructing numerous data centers across Asia, with a substantial IT power capacity. The development of this new campus in Johor underscores Digital Edge's expansion strategy in the rapidly growing APAC data center market.
