JSC Kazakhtelecom

Kazakhtelecom’s data center in Pavlodar, Kazakhstan, is a Tier III facility designed for high reliability and continuous operation. It occupies a repurposed five-story telephone exchange, retrofitted to support modern data infrastructure. The total IT load capacity is 1.6 MW, supported by precision cooling systems and robust ventilation.

Cooling is delivered via STULZ CyberAir 3 GE units, with Hall I equipped with 10 air conditioners and Hall II with 11, each rated at 81 kW. Six Guentner dry cooling towers complement the system, alongside dedicated 2x2 air conditioners for UPS zones. The facility includes a full supply and exhaust system, smoke and gas removal, and a pumping station, all integrated beneath a raised false floor for efficient airflow and cabling.

The center spans 1,000 square meters and was developed in collaboration with Hewlett-Packard Critical Facilities Services. It supports both virtual and physical hosting, domain registration, and data backup for internet resources. Maintenance can be performed without interrupting operations, ensuring uptime and service continuity. TPA Studio provided architectural and planning support for phased expansion.
