Freedom Cloud Almaty is a new data center facility currently under construction within the Alatau Innovative Technology Park Special Economic Zone (SEZ ATP) in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The facility is designed to house 480 racks and will offer a usable IT capacity of 7.2 MW. The total investment for this project is reported to be 175 billion tenge, with 75 billion tenge allocated for construction and 100 billion tenge for equipment. A key advantage of its location within the SEZ ATP is access to substantial CAPEX-focused tax incentives, including exemptions from corporate income tax, property tax, and land tax, as well as a 0% VAT on imported goods essential for operational activities.
