Demand for hyperscale data centers is increasing due to remote work, cloud service adoption, and the growth of markets like generative AI. Yondr Group has a global presence in hyperscale data center development, ownership, and operation across eight countries. Marubeni will leverage its network of local stakeholders in Japan to advance the development and lead the planning for renewable energy supply for this project. Further data center projects in Japan are planned following this initial development.
