NEXTDC - TK1 Tokyo

NEXTDC TK1 Tokyo, located in Minato City, Japan, is a new, AI-ready data center marking NEXTDC's expansion into the Japanese market. With a planned IT capacity of 28MW, it is designed to Uptime Institute Tier IV standards and aims for Tier IV Gold Certification for Operational Sustainability. The facility is strategically situated in central Tokyo, adjacent to Tokyo Tower, providing low-latency access to global cloud platforms and critical digital infrastructure. This development supports the increasing adoption of AI, automation, and advanced digital services in Japan, enabling hyperscalers, cloud providers, and enterprises to deploy high-density, latency-sensitive workloads. TK1 Tokyo is part of NEXTDC's broader Asia Pacific expansion strategy, offering sovereign-grade digital infrastructure and a mission-critical operations center. Targeted for operational readiness in late 2030, it will integrate with NEXTDC's existing ecosystem across APAC and Australia.
