Summit-TY is Summit's data center presence in Tokyo, just 2 miles from Haneda Airport. The facility occupies the 4th floor of Building C, Block B, spanning 3,499 sq.m. The electrical infrastructure includes 3 x 600 kVA and 2 x 400 kVA uninterruptible power systems, fed by 3 x 22 kV utility feeders and supported by 3 x 3-MVA gas turbine generators for backup power. The overall power redundancy is N+1.
The cooling infrastructure is also N+1 redundant, ensuring high availability for customer deployments. The data center leverages granular temperature monitoring and optimized lighting for sustainability. It is compliant with SOC2 standards and provides robust security with 24/7 onsite staffing, visitor screening, CCTV surveillance (30-day backup), and biometric hand readers with pin code entry.
