BroadCenter Shizuoka Data Center is located in Yaizu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, offering high-resilience infrastructure in a region with low seismic and tsunami risk. The site is over 50km from active fault lines and 4.1km inland, at an elevation of 13.6m.
The five-story reinforced concrete facility features seismic isolation systems and is built to Class I seismic safety standards, allowing continued operation without structural repairs after major earthquakes. It supports up to 800 racks with a floor load capacity of 1,250kg/m² and rack power up to 8kVA.
Power systems include dual 77kV high-voltage feeds from separate substations, N+1 UPS redundancy, and emergency generators capable of 72 hours of continuous operation. Cooling is managed by AI-controlled PAC units and outside-air economizers.
Security includes 24/7 staffed reception, biometric authentication, dual-door access control, and surveillance cameras. The center is carrier-neutral and certified for ISO 27001, ISO 20000, JIS Q 15001, PCI DSS, FISC compliance, and LGWAN-ASP.
Amenities include setup rooms, rental offices, refresh areas, and sleeping quarters with showers, supporting extended on-site operations and client visits.
