Vantage KIX12 - Osaka

Vantage KIX12, located in Ibaraki City, Osaka Prefecture, Japan, is a planned data center facility representing the second major expansion phase of Vantage Data Centers' KIX1 Osaka Campus. Currently under development, this multi-story structure is engineered to support future high-density AI workloads, cloud platforms, and enterprise digital infrastructure in the Kansai region. Upon full build-out, the campus will offer up to 68 MW of total critical IT load. The facility is designed with flexible floor layouts and liquid-cooling capacity options to accommodate next-generation GPU clusters and AI processing units. It will integrate with the campus's dedicated 77kV utility substation for high-voltage power with N+1 redundant distribution. Sustainability features include ultra-efficient closed-loop cooling technology for near-zero Water Utilization Efficiency (WUE) and low PUE. The data center will utilize state-of-the-art Japanese seismic base isolation technology for structural resiliency and offer carrier-neutral connectivity through direct connections to campus Meet-Me-Rooms and diverse fiber pathways.
