NSCS Information Center

The NS Computer Service Information Center in Niigata Prefecture is built with a seismic isolation structure, the first of its kind in the region, to ensure uninterrupted operations during earthquakes. The building uses six types of laminated rubber isolators, some with lead plugs for enhanced damping, and flexible piping to protect internal systems.

Power infrastructure includes dual 6.6kV feeds from separate substations, a 500kVA diesel generator capable of running for over a week without refueling, and 150kVA UPS units with 10-minute backup capacity. This setup ensures continuous power 24/7/365.

Security features include contactless IC card access, surveillance cameras, and facial recognition intercoms. Fire protection uses HFC23 gas suppression and sensitive smoke and water leak detection systems. The facility maintains stable temperature and humidity via high-efficiency air-cooled systems and offers redundant, high-capacity network connectivity for reliable service delivery.
