DayOne, a global digital infrastructure platform, has announced plans to develop a new data center campus in Imari City, Saga Prefecture, Japan. The campus, located on a 133,000 square meter site within the Imari East Industrial Park, will feature 200MW of grid power. Development will occur in phases, with the first phase targeted for operation in 2030. The project includes 160MW of secured powered land. Once fully operational, the facility is expected to create approximately 60 to 80 full-time jobs, in addition to local employment during construction and operation. Situated in Kyushu, Japan's southernmost main island, the Imari campus represents an expansion of DayOne's Japanese operations beyond Tokyo and offers proximity to major Asian markets.
