SGIX - Singapore Internet Exchange

The Singapore Internet Exchange (SGIX) is the largest not-for-profit Internet Exchange (IX) in Singapore. SGIX aims to promote efficient exchange of Internet traffic while lowering overall interconnectivity costs and improving network performance for all peering members. SGIX operates a distributed peering network with presence in major data centres across Singapore, providing a robust, open, and neutral peering platform for service providers and enterprises. This allows for cost-effective exchange of Internet traffic and enhances the delivery of broadband services by reducing latency. SGIX's mission is to strengthen Singapore's status as a major info-communications hub in the Asia Pacific region.
