ST Digital has launched construction on a Tier III data center in Grand-Bassam, Côte d’Ivoire, within the VITIB technology park. The facility will span 4,000 square meters and is set to become operational by the end of Q1 2025.
Designed for high security, eco-efficiency, and AI-ready infrastructure, the data center will offer modular colocation space, a submarine cable landing station, and sustainable features such as vegetable gardens and artificial lakes—reusing output from its air-conditioning systems to lower environmental impact.
This project represents part of ST Digital’s expansion across West Africa, following a €10 million investment from UHURU Investment Partners, and aims to reinforce digital sovereignty while positioning Côte d’Ivoire as a regional tech hub.
