Eni's Green Data Center, located in Ferrera Erbognone, Italy, is a groundbreaking facility designed to optimize energy efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions. Spanning 5,200 square meters, the center supports Eni's IT operations, including seismic simulation processing, with an impressive energy density of up to 50kW/m². It achieves a world-class Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) ratio of 1.2, setting a global benchmark for energy-efficient mega-centers.

The facility employs innovative cooling systems, utilizing direct air from outside for 75% of the year, significantly reducing reliance on traditional air conditioning. This approach not only minimizes energy consumption but also filters and returns cleaner air to the environment. Strategically located near the Enipower Ferrera Erbognone power station, the center benefits from a reliable and sustainable energy supply.
