CINECA

The Megaride Data Center, located at Corso Nicolangelo Protopisani, 70 in Naples, Italy, is a new High-Performance Computing (HPC) facility inaugurated on June 27, 2025. Built at the University Complex of San Giovanni a Teduccio of the University of Naples Federico II, this state-of-the-art infrastructure is designed to address the computing, security, and sustainability requirements of the National Cybersecurity Agency.

The project was initiated by the Ministry of University and Research, in partnership with the National Center for HPC, Big Data and Quantum Computing (ICSC), the National Research Council, and Cineca. Cineca, which manages and maintains several accredited data centers internationally, brings its expertise to this facility. Megaride aims to provide advanced IT services, ensuring business continuity, high security, and the availability of critical applications for universities, companies, and public administrations.
