Clio focuses its core business on solutions and services that, thanks to their high level of specialization and technological content, guarantee customers a competitive advantage in their market. Network development and day-to-day management are carried out by highly qualified in-house resources with backgrounds in scientific and academic research. Under its own ClioCom® brand, it offers Internet connectivity through its own backbone with MIX in Milan and Namex in Rome for national bandwidth, and through its own backbone with top-tier international carriers for international connectivity. Clio is strongly positioned in Puglia in the Internet market, with all related supply chain activities. Today, ClioCom® is the network that maintains a significant market share in the region in the paid user segment, with particular attention to areas affected by the digital divide. Beyond the regional level, it provides symmetric and asymmetric broadband Internet access services throughout Italy. Clio has its own next-generation network (NGAN) called Raganet, through which it offers wireless broadband connectivity, even in digital divide areas not reached by traditional operators.
As part of the RUPAR-SPC project, it designed and developed a network control system for the Puglia Region, involving over 160 local administrations. The system is based on open-source applications and enhanced by specific engineering. Clio also operates in the digital publishing sector through the CLIOedu brand, both as a producer of multimedia content for institutions and schools of all levels and as a provider of technology platforms to support e-learning.
