IBM Damastown Data Centre

IBM's Damastown Data Centre is a high-spec Tier 3 facility located in the Damastown Industrial Estate, Dublin, Ireland. Spanning 2,000 square meters, the data center was constructed in phases to ensure scalability and operational continuity. It is designed with N+1 redundancy, providing resilience and reliability for critical IT operations.

The facility includes advanced infrastructure such as electrical rooms with UPS and battery systems, a switch room, and external plant areas featuring a generator compound, fuel storage tanks, and chillers. A new roof-level air handling unit (AHU) enhances cooling efficiency. Security is reinforced with internal security cages, subdividing the data center for added protection.

Completed in April 2011, the IBM Damastown Data Centre reflects a commitment to meeting stringent client requirements while maintaining high standards of performance and reliability.
