The Amazon AWS DUB - Kildare Innovation Campus, located in Leixlip, Ireland, is a significant hyperscale data center facility. Developed by AiOnX on the former HP campus, the site has been transformed for data center operations. The campus is leased to a major US hyperscaler, identified as Amazon. The first phase of the Dublin data center is nearing completion, with immediate power rentals commencing in late 2026. The entire 179MW capacity is leased. The facility is designed for high reliability and efficiency, with a commitment to using HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) as a preferred fuel source for emergency generators, alongside diesel. The site features advanced cooling systems, including free-cooling and adiabatic cooling, and incorporates sustainable design elements like living walls. Amazon Data Services Ireland Limited (ADSIL) operates the facility, adhering to strict environmental management systems and best available techniques.
