Racks Central RCBI

Racks Central Batam is an upcoming greenfield data center located in Nongsa Digital Park, Batam, Indonesia. Designed to support Southeast Asia's expansion strategy, this facility will deliver up to 95MW of critical IT load, purpose-built for high-density compute, AI workloads, and cloud-native infrastructure.

Situated within the Nongsa special economic and digital zone, the data center benefits from investment incentives and tax advantages, making it an ideal location for cloud, AI, and hyperscale operators looking to expand near Singapore. The facility integrates advanced infrastructure, including liquid-ready cooling, high-rack power densities (8 KW ~ 140KW), and modular deployment flexibility for rapid scalability.

With direct, low-latency connectivity to Racks Central's Tai Seng facility in Singapore via redundant subsea and terrestrial links, the Batam data center acts as a crucial node in a cross-border, multi-site architecture. This enables active-active AI training, geo-redundant deployments, and seamless data synchronization between Indonesia and Singapore.

Aligned with ESG commitments, the facility is being developed to meet stringent efficiency and sustainability benchmarks, with optimized power usage design and future integration of renewable energy.
