Visit WebsiteST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC) has acquired a 3.5-acre land parcel in the TTC Industrial Area of Navi Mumbai, India, for a potential data center development. The acquisition cost was Rs 2.8 billion ($30 million). This site is situated in Navi Mumbai, east of Mumbai, within the state of Maharashtra. STT GDC already has a significant presence in the Mumbai region, with existing data center campuses in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, and a third campus under development in Palava. STT GDC India operates and is developing over 400MW of critical IT load across 30 facilities in 10 cities nationwide. The company was fully acquired by investment firm KKR and Singaporean telecoms firm Singtel in February.
