BOM data centers are part of the ap-south-1 AWS region: Asia Pacific (Mumbai).

Amazon Web Services (AWS) secured a land lease in Navi Mumbai, India, in August 2023 for the construction of a new data center. The lease agreement, with a term of 15 years with a potential expansion option, was signed with Newfound Properties and Leasing Private Limited, a subsidiary of K Raheja Corp. The planned data center occupies a 450,000 sq ft. site.
