Iron Mountain Data Centers is developing the MUM-3 facility, an 85MW data center campus located in Rabale, Mumbai, India. This new development is designed to support high-density, compute-intensive AI workloads, emphasizing scale, speed-to-market, and intelligent engineering. Sustainability is a core aspect of the design, incorporating advanced cooling architectures and renewable energy solutions to assist customers with their ESG goals. The MUM-3 campus will complement Iron Mountain's existing two data centers in Mumbai, which collectively provide 8.3MW of capacity. Iron Mountain has been operating independently in India since acquiring data centers previously operated by WebWerks. The construction is being undertaken in collaboration with Stirling & Wilson. An official opening date has not yet been announced.
