RackBank DC Madya Pradesh

RackBank has announced the development of an 80MW data center in Madhya Pradesh, India. Located in Indore, this AI-optimized facility will be constructed in four 20MW phases and is designed to house up to 60,000 GPUs at full build-out. The data center will feature RackBank's in-house Varuna liquid immersion cooling technology and rear door heat exchangers, aiming for a Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of between 1.1 and 1.3.

The facility will offer flexible rack density options ranging from 50kW to 150kW, with scalability to accommodate Nvidia's upcoming GPU architecture. The first phase is expected to be operational by Q4 2024, with full capacity reached by Q3 2025. This strategic location in central India is set to become a global AI training powerhouse, delivering lightning-fast inference capabilities across the nation.

The Government of Madhya Pradesh has supported this project with state-issued subsidies and incentives, enhancing its viability and long-term sustainability. This initiative aligns with the state's vision to become a hub for technological innovation and significantly contribute to India's digital infrastructure.
