Cerebras Guyana

Cerebras Guyana is a proposed state-of-the-art artificial intelligence (AI) data center with a capacity of up to 100MW, to be built and operated in Wales, Guyana. This initiative, a collaboration between Cerebras Systems and the Government of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, aims to position Guyana as a regional leader in digital innovation and an AI-first nation. The facility will deploy Cerebras' CS-3 AI supercomputers and infrastructure to serve international demand and provide high-performance compute capabilities for startups, researchers, and enterprises. The project is envisioned as a cornerstone for a thriving technology ecosystem, promoting economic growth, job creation, and educational advancement. It also emphasizes data sovereignty and protection, with plans for talent upskilling through training programs and research initiatives. Located near the Gas-to-Energy plant, the Wales Data Center is part of a broader vision for digital prosperity, including education hubs and startup incubators.
