Apto DC

Apto has partnered with Dromeus Capital Group to develop a hyperscale data center in Spata, Athens, Greece. The €300 million ($328 million) project has already received pre-approval and secured high-voltage power, ensuring a speed-to-market advantage for Apto’s global customers.

The facility will be located in an industrial zone, just 15 minutes from Athens International Airport. Designed to support cloud and AI workloads, the data center aligns with Apto’s sustainable reference design, leveraging renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power.

Greece’s strategic location—connecting Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia—makes it an attractive hub for cloud computing. The country’s rapidly growing public cloud market and vibrant tech start-up ecosystem further enhance its appeal.

The project is expected to create construction jobs during the building phase, followed by long-term, high-skill employment opportunities in data center operations, maintenance, and support services.
