The BADEN CLOUD® data center in Appenweier is a TÜV‑, ISO‑, and ISAE‑certified facility designed to provide secure, high‑availability infrastructure for businesses and municipalities in the Ortenau region. Established in 2011 and operated by LEITWERK Rechenzentren Appenweier GmbH in partnership with E‑Werk Mittelbaden, it offers climate‑neutral operations and is powered by a regional electricity provider. Its design meets stringent requirements for critical infrastructure (KRITIS) and supports a wide range of IT workloads.

Services include colocation from single rack units to private cages, server hosting, managed services, cloud backup, and private cloud solutions. The site features redundant power and connectivity, including cross‑path internet links from multiple providers to ensure resilience against outages and cyber threats. All systems are monitored and maintained by a team of experienced IT specialists.

Located in Germany with strict data protection compliance, the Appenweier facility serves as a regional digital hub, enabling SMEs and public sector clients to modernize their IT while keeping data local and secure.
