TELEHOUSE Frankfurt (Building M) is the fifth data center launched at Telehouse's Frankfurt campus, located at Kleyerstraße 75-87, Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Opened in October, this facility adds 4.5MW of IT capacity and 2,200 sqm (23,680 sq ft) of data center space across three floors. The campus now totals 50,000 sqm (538,195 sq ft), with further expansion being explored.
A key feature of the campus is its commitment to sustainability, utilizing waste heat generated by all buildings to supply a nearby residential area. This initiative can cover approximately 60 percent of the community's energy needs for heating, utilizing only about 2 percent of Telehouse's waste heat. The remaining heat is fed into the district heating network via a combined heat and power plant operated by the Frankfurt-based utility company Manova.
Dr. Béla Waldhauser, managing director of Telehouse Deutschland, highlighted the importance of combining efficiency, performance, and safety with environmental protection for customers, emphasizing local and global responsibility.
