YEXIO Brake

Hochtief, in collaboration with Yorizon Cloud, is planning a sustainable data center project located in Brake, Germany. This facility is designed with a strong focus on environmental responsibility, incorporating timber construction to significantly reduce carbon emissions. It features advanced cooling systems, including direct-to-chip liquid cooling, ensuring energy efficiency and optimal performance for high-density IT and AI applications.

The data center is set to offer an initial IT capacity of 2MW, with plans to scale up to 4MW as demand grows. It is equipped to repurpose waste heat for local district heating networks, contributing to the region's climate-conscious municipal heating strategy. This innovative approach aligns with the growing trend of integrating data centers into sustainable urban development.

Strategically located in Brake, YEXIO aims to strengthen digital infrastructure in smaller cities while promoting sustainability. Its cutting-edge design and commitment to energy management make it a flagship project for environmentally responsible data center operations, supporting businesses, public institutions, and cloud service providers. Completion is expected by 2027.
