TDF has launched a new data center in the Pic Rouge area of Papeete, French Polynesia, repurposing a former broadcast facility to support sovereign and high-performance digital services. Delivered in June 2025, the site marks a strategic expansion of TDF’s infrastructure footprint in ultramarine territories.
Initial customers include the Bank of Polynesia and Axians Polynesia, reflecting strong local demand for secure and resilient IT services. The facility incorporates a heat recovery system and will be equipped with rooftop solar panels by the end of 2025.
An expansion phase is planned for 2026, reinforcing TDF’s long-term commitment to digital transformation in the region. The Papeete site is now the fifth-largest in TDF’s portfolio and plays a key role in strengthening connectivity across the South Pacific.
