Hermineo Data is a new proximity data center located in Quimper, France, developed by Quimper Communauté Télécom (QCT), a subsidiary of Axione, in partnership with Quimper Bretagne Occidentale. This facility aims to bolster the digital infrastructure and data sovereignty of the region, offering secure, local hosting solutions for businesses, administrations, and public entities.

Constructed as an extension to an existing facility, the data center's development began in January 2025 and concluded in October 2025, with an expected opening before the end of 2025. The project represents an investment of 600,000 Euros, with amortization planned by 2034, coinciding with the end of the public service delegation (DSP) for the Hermineo very high-speed network.

The Hermineo network, a fiber optic infrastructure of approximately 140 km, provides high-speed connectivity and premium services with guaranteed and secured bandwidth to 130 sites belonging to Quimper Bretagne Occidentale and its municipalities, as well as 350 businesses and other administrations. Hermineo Data enhances this offering by providing sovereign hosting, crucial for data security and confidentiality against cyber threats and extraterritorial laws. The data center is designed to meet French and European standards, reinforcing the digital independence and security of the Quimper territory.
